INGREDIENTS

250g chickpeas.

1 tbsp Chilli powder.

1 tbsp Garlic powder.

1 tbsp olive oil

1tsp salt.

METHOD

If you are using dried chickpeas then you will need to soak them overnight.

If you go for tinned you can use straight away.

Pour the chickpeas out onto a track and then using either kitchen towel or a tea towel, dry them off as much as possible.

Tip the chickpeas into a bowl and add the oil, chilli powder, garlic powder and salt.

Toss until all the chickpeas are coated.

Pour the coated chickpeas into a baking tray and bake for approx 20 mins at 200.

Give them a shake every now and then to make sure they cook evenly.

Once they are cooked they will be nice and crunchy - remove from the oven and leave to cool.

Store in an airtight container, assuming you can resist them!
