Parmesan Crisps with Guacamole

Updated: May 7, 2020

Parmesan chips with guacamole

If you are quitting sugar it's important to have a choice of go-to snacks to get you through any cravings or moments of weakness.

These parmesan crisps are the perfect savoury snack to fend off any sugar lust.

They are seriously moreish and won't last long!

They're perfect on their own, or with Guacamole, hummus or tapenade.

They're a great substitute for sweets, crisps and great if you're on a low carb diet too.

Another skew on the parmesan crisps is adding chia seeds, pepper or chilli flakes to them while they're baking.

It just adds a little kick and changes them up a bit.

I've paired these crisps with a guacamole dip.

INGREDIENTS

180 grams of parmesan cheese

METHOD

This is really so simple!

Finely grate the parmesan and place in little portions on to grease proof paper.

Flatten the portions down, but leave a space between each portion.

Cook at 180 degrees for 20 mins.

When the cheese starts to bubble, remove from the oven and leave to cool.

When they've cooled down, they're ready to eat!

Alternatively, you could bake a giant crisp and then break it up into smaller pieces once it's cooled.

I've added cheddar and chia seeds into this one...
