Just because you decide to cut down on your sugar doesn't mean you can never have great tasting treats.

It's a misconception that low or no sugar diets are all full of boring food, but of course that isn't the case.

Cutting sugar out of your diet can have so many wonderful health benefits - I have a blog post here that outlines 17 Amazing Things That Happen When You Stop Eating Sugar.

And in case you are worried about the effects of a sugar detox, I have another blog here.

If you are going sugarfree these little balls of goodness are a healthy treat and contain oats, seeds, nuts and of course strawberries.

They can be eaten as breakfast bites or as an after dinner treat.

They are best eaten nice and cold, straight from the fridge.

You can really experiment with these too, maybe add in a few raspberries, or throw in a few hazelnuts?

INGREDIENTS

300g Strawberries

100g Oats

75g Coconut flour

25g Almonds

75 g Desiccated Coconut

2 Tbsp Coconut Oil

METHOD

Put all the ingredients except the desiccated coconut into a food processor and mix away until you get a smooth (ish!) paste.

Scoop out with a teaspoon and roll into individual balls.

Roll the balls in the desiccated coconut and refrigerate.
